This video is portrait. I don’t know what they were thinking. You have been warned.

Looks like they’ve decided to go with a liftback. Sweet.

Did they tho? I thought that was one of jalopniks complaints that it should be a lift back but wasn’t.

Honestly, it might be the same one they showed at the launch event:
Although the one in the video has the Model S wheels.

Really? Looks like the hinge is in the same place along the C-pillar like it was during the press launch.

280 Northbound in Palo Alto. On it’s way to SF. I recognize the hill at 0:29. Could be Redwood city by that point but near enough anyway.

Agreed. The trunk lid hinges seem high, but the glass goes all the way down. Elon tweeted that they would try and make the trunk opening larger. But I don’t see them rebuilding the car to make the glass move with the trunk lid. Especially since a major feature of the car is all glass roof from driver’s head all the way to the trunk lid.
Shame, am a fan of lift backs and hatchbacks.

Yes, but now it has been seen in “the wild”. Granted the 280 in Palo Alto is as close as you can be to the mothership and still qualify as being “in public”. ;-)

Yes, agreed. It is technically not at a Tesla facility, but damn close. Still qualifies as “the wild”, but barely...
